Two nights ago I had the perfect steak. Tonight I had the perfect sunset!
After work I set off to find Arctic Valley. One exit on the highway, the a dirt road for miles on end. I'd been warned in advance that if I stayed past 10pm I'd be shot, so the time lines were pretty clear.
I got to the top, but it wasn't easy. I can see why they suggested a four wheel drive and not my posh little Focus, but we got there and enjoyed the view. We did.
Once back in town I sat down for dinner in one of the local breweries, and by the time I finally got home it was around 8pm and time for the sun to set. The show lasted nearly two hours, and I've never seen the like. I was supposed to pack my suitcases, but it just had to wait!
