Friday night

9:25pm and I'm at home. My oh my it feels good! There's nothing wrong with being out, and I enjoyed catching up with a friend tonight over dinner, but home is magic.

This week was another trip to Paris. A full day of sightseeing on Sunday with a colleague who'd never been to Paris before, so once checked in, we started with lunch (it was 11am and we had beer with lunch. I'm admitting it). The first tourist stop was l'Arc de Triumphe. This was followed by a stroll down Champs Élysées till we reached Louvre. Then it was on to see Notre Dame, Centre Pompidoux and Place du Tertre. Dinner was had before heading to Trocadero for that mandatory view of the Eiffel Tower by night. Gosh, I'm exhausted even thinking about all this!

Ah sure, a couple of days in Paris passed in no time, and now I'm busy planning the last few trips for the year. Any guesses as to how many days I've been on the road so far this year?

Hmmmmmm... Around 250, maybe?

I know that "ah, it's good to be home" feeling very well. Enjoy!

My guess is 237 days! Can't wait to hear the result of the final count.

Right, I can't actually reveal the result just now. That would spoil the fun of playing with numbers at the end of the year, so you'll have to wait a wee while :)

Paris (I'm guessing) wouldn't be Paris without home. Eh?
