J'aime Paris!

The last week has been spent trying to beat a cold. I've not yet been successful, but it was time to get back to work yesterday and hence time to get back to the airport...

Checked in at 17:15. Headed out into Paris 45 minutes later. First stop was Montmartre for dinner. Well, dinner and views. Ice cream was needed for dessert, as the steep walk up the hill had reduced my energy level to somewhere below zero!

Trocadero was on the way back anyway, so it made sense to get off the Metro and enjoy the view of the Eiffel Tower before crossing the Seine and walking back to the hotel.

Didn't realise how much I'd missed Paris!

Oh Dot. Been a year since I was there and I booked tickets for a few of our Execs to hit Clichy next week... made me cry it did. What a gorgeous city. Probably the only one I'd visit more than once Lucky duck. Enjoy. Say Hello to Tour St Jaques, it was my landmark to find my way back to the Apartment off Rue Sebastopol.

@ Baino - Time flies when having fun. My fun ended last night. This morning it was work, and suddenly it was as if the Eiffel Tower didn't even exist! I'll keep an eye out for your landmark though ;)

- Roy - I'm recovering well, and it's much easier when in Paris. Just wish it was fun, fun, fun!

- Brian - I like that! You'll have to visit some day :)

- Yrsa - Never good to be away from Paris for too long at a time...
